Increased Cases of Scarlet Fever in Hong Kong

• In response to the increased number of reported cases on scarlet fever in Hong Kong recently, the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of Department of Health and the Hong Kong Tourism Board are closely monitoring the development.  The CHP has been uploading the daily update onto CHP website for public information.  The Hong Kong Tourism Board will provide the travel trade and consumers with relevant information if needed.
• Scarlet fever can be treated effectively with antibiotics.  Daily activities in Hong Kong remain usual.  Travellers can be assured it is safe to travel to Hong Kong.

·        抗生素可有效治療猩紅熱。香港的日常生活保持正常，前往香港旅遊仍然十分安全。
